Regional Conferences Begin

Sunday, July 15, 19 out of 23 Northeast Region elders (plus many wives) gathered in Richmond, Virginia, for the first regional ministerial conference with the theme "Study to Show Yourself Approved." They were joined by six instructors: Clyde Kilough, Jim Franks, Richard Pinelli, Dick Thompson, David Register and Doug Horchak. The nonsalaried elders left Monday evening and the salaried men had sessions specific to their work on Tuesday.

One elder said the background given to the work of the Council was most enlightening for him and that he felt he had clear understanding of how UCG operates. The elders also received a 169-page manual on the fundamental beliefs. It was a packed three days of information enhanced by great fellowship and a true spirit of brotherly love.
