Q. Why is Pentecost on June 12 in 2005, instead of on June 19? The latter date appears to be seven weeks from the Days of Unleavened Bread, and the earlier date seems to be a week too early.

Jesus Christ replied to the questioning Pharisees, "Have you not read... For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother, and be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh" (Matthew 19:4-6).
