How do you deal with the challenges that life brings? It seems that everyday may bring more difficulty. There's no doubt that the world is changing at an amazing rate and sometimes it looks pretty bleak. How do you handle it?
I heard this anonymous story to help with the times that we live in. In fact, these are more than just interesting times—your Bible describes them as very difficult, in fact, perilous times (2 Timothy 3:1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

Yet it's not a time for you to be distressed or discouraged. It's time to PUSH!
When everything seems to go wrong for you - PUSH!
When your job or the lack of a job, gets you down. PUSH!
When people don't act the way you think they should. PUSH!
When your checkbook is low and your bills are high. PUSH!
When people just don't understand you. PUSH!
When you worry and doubt. PUSH
When you don't know what else to do. PUSH!
What is PUSH? It's an acronym.
P=Pray
U=Until
S=Something
H=Happens
Pray Until Something Happens.
The Bible tells us "Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything." (Philippians 4:6 CEV) So, when's the last time you prayed? Do you know how?
God wants a personal relationship with you—He has a purpose for life. You can understand God's plan and grow spiritually by really getting to know your Creator.
So how should you deal with the challenges that life brings? PUSH
Get into the habit of praying to God on a regular basis. Go to your Bible and learn how to pray until something happens. There's tremendous power in prayer.

Hi Melissa,
What an exciting time in your life this must be as you're learning so many new things from God's Word, and even how to start communicating with the Creator of the universe from deep in your heart. The recommendation of this article to P.U.S.H. is a good one; so, don't give up. Our choices in response to God's lead help build (or depreciate) the spiritual character that God wants to create in us (compare the principles of Romans 6:16,19,22; see also Romans 8:14-15,26). The more you choose God's way on a daily basis and when put to the test, the stronger you'll become. It is important to remember though, that it is God who gives the spiritual increase (1 Corinthians 3:6-7), and all of your best efforts can't yield true spiritual fruit without His help (John 15:4-5). When you stumble or fall, ask God for forgiveness and help to get back up, get cleaned off (Hebrews 9:14), and start walking forward again (Proverbs 24:16a). As for just getting started, those that were invited in the "eleventh hour" received an equivalent reward from the Lord in the parable of Matthew 20:6-10; so, welcome to the family!!
