[Steve Myers] I was trying to move a table the other day and it was like, I can't do it. "Hey, can you give me a hand with this?" I asked somebody to help me. How many times have you done that? "Can you give me a hand?"

God does just that over and over and over again. Have you thought about God's hand? There's a whole bunch of scriptures that point to the fact that God is there and ultimately He's lending us His Almighty hand.

There's a beautiful passage in Isaiah 41:10 here's what it says, "Fear not, I'm with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. I'll strengthen you. Yes, I'll help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Boy, you talk about the ultimate help that we can receive. The ultimate hand we can get is looking for God's hand. Asking God, "Can you give me a hand?" And this is also telling us, no matter what, God's present.

Even when we don't realize, we need a hand when we need help, even if we're overlooking that fact, God is there. He's present.

How many times in your life can you take a look back and recognize the fact, God was there? God was there guiding you, helping you, leading you, lending you a hand, even perhaps when you didn't recognize that very fact. But God is there.

So remember that very fact the next time you need a hand with something, God's always there to lend us a hand.
