There is a 100% effective vaccine for fear; will you utilize it?

Transcript

[Steve Myers] The big item in the news right now is the Pfizer vaccine. They've been trying and testing a COVID-19 vaccine that they've supposedly tested on 43,000 different individuals in numerous countries. And they're saying that this vaccine could be 90% effective. And so, when you consider that, is that the solution to our problems? Well, they're hoping that that would somehow solve the problem with COVID-19.

Now, the real question, then, is that since we've all been touched by this pandemic, every one of us have been affected, yet, how will we come out of it? What will this vaccine actually produce? Is it going to get our economy back or is this the new normal that we're living in right now? Of course, when we consider that, we could take that a number of ways. I mean, we could be paralyzed by what's been happening around us. It could impact our lives, and we could kind of get down into our own little cocoons and try to protect ourselves. And we might even look at this problem in that way.

But when we really consider it, isn't it something that we need to go to God about? We need to bring all these things before our great God and lay it before Him. Because God is the only one that really knows the ultimate answers, what's going to happen? How is this going to impact our world? What's going to happen to my job? What's going to happen to food supplies? What's going to happen to all the things that are happening around us in our government? Well, vaccine isn't gonna solve all those things. God knows. And so, we're reminded of that very fact, throughout His word over and over and over again.

There's a passage in the book of Isaiah, in Isaiah 26:3, it reminds us of the perspective we need to have. It says, "You will keep Him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you because He trusts you." And so, what we're told here is that our relationship with God is what is most important. That should be first and foremost in our life. We should bring these problems and issues that we have, the challenges in our trials before God and lay it all before Him because He knows, ultimately prayer is that one vaccine that has been proven, not just 50%, or 80%, or maybe 90%, like this Pfizer vaccine, maybe.

Prayer is the ultimate vaccine, that will be the ultimate solution that's effective against every single enemy that comes against us.

That's BT Daily. We'll see you next time.

I have a question, I have a new job who says I have to take the vaccine to keep my job, I'm afraid of it being the mark of the beast, I've been praying and praying about this. I need help before Monday. Please help.

Hi, Heather. The vaccine is not the mark of the beast. There are certain prophetic events that must happen before the mark of the beast comes on the scene, and they haven't happened yet. You might find this Beyond Today episode helpful -- it's from December and they mention how the vaccine is not the mark of the beast. Hope that helps! https://www.ucg.org/beyond-today/beyond-today-television-program/beware-the-mark-of-the-beast

You are so right. God is the only one to rely on. When the end time plagues come about onto humanity. We can't rely on vaccines, but God. We can relate to the parallel of how the Israelites were affected by some of the curses or plagues on Egypt, but not all of them. We sort of have a symbolic "blood on the doorpost" to spare us, some of what is coming ahead. Of course depending upon obeying God's guidelines for being spared. We may be in the process right now, of conditioning our minds and heart for other events that will incrementally occur. We are in training as a Christian soldier; in putting God first.
