What a beautiful day we have today to be thankful for! Every day of life is a gift from God. Thanks be to God for every part of His creation - the blue skies, the rain, the birds singing songs for us, all the little animals, the tiny insects outside, the grasses, the beaches, and we can go on and on thanking Him for a very long time.

The world is so much on the edge of explosively dangerous times right now. We can really be thankful for each day at a time, without worrying about the trials that are sure to come. Christ said in Matthew 6:34, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." NKJV.

So when the world is 'falling apart', or when life seems too hectic, or at times even discouraging, it never fails to give us a boost when we get down on our knees and just go through a list of things to give thanks to God. It is a daily part of my prayers.

And it is such a vital part of this de-leavening process!

Taking that time to stop all the physical parts for a little bit of time, gives us a renewed energy to get the many physical tasks accomplished. It's part of that work smarter concept. Each day, we must go to God for the spiritual strength first, and when we do, we find we can accomplish more physically.

Especially at this time of year, we are thinking about and studying and remembering the sacrifice that Jesus Christ went through for our sakes. When I study deeply about the sufferings Jesus went through, I cannot help but weep. And I cannot stop from having joy also that our Father and our Brother gave us this plan for redemption - because they love us so deeply.

Remembering this makes Passover my very favorite day of every year.

Let's give thanks for the truth and the knowledge and the love of God, and for these precious days that reveal His plan for us!
