As we more completely grasp the incredible magnitude of all God has created, we are left speechless just as Job was (Job 42:5-6 Job 42:5-6 5 I have heard of you by the hearing of the ear: but now my eye sees you. 6 Why I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

). We should find it easy to remain humble in His presence and know that His decisions are fair, right and in our best interests. It is only when men bring God down to their level that they can make the mistake of questioning all He has done. It is the height of arrogance and foolishness for a human to question God, yet we sometimes do, as Paul pointed out (Romans 9:20 Romans 9:20No but, O man, who are you that reply against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why have you made me thus?

Recognizing that God is God in all of His glory helps us trust Him and have faith, even when we cannot see the outcome of things clearly. Without faith we cannot please Him—and faith demands not that we know the outcome, but that we trust Him (Hebrews 11:1-6 Hebrews 11:1-6 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaks. 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

). There is much more for us to learn in life, but with a solid foundation of knowing our place and who is in control, we are more readily able to obey His laws and commands. Jesus is the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him (Hebrews 5:9 Hebrews 5:9And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation to all them that obey him;
