There are many wealthy, well-dressed members of the human race who carry heavy aches beneath their diamond necklaces—and there are many members of the human race who wear paupers’ garments, yet whose happy hearts dance beneath the coarse wool. The Apostle Paul said he learned to be content in whatever state he was in (Philippians 4:11 Philippians 4:11Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatever state I am, therewith to be content.
American King James Version×). Happiness depends more on our outlook and perceptions than it does on the clothing we wear.
