Strong and clear messages are to be found in the book of Psalms. Psalms are words put to music. We express ourselves through music in many ways. We dance when we rejoice, we sing to express our attitudes. We use music to woo a loved one, and we use music in the worship of God. The level of ability that mankind has developed in music stirs up patriotism, togetherness, and worship that we often cannot find in mere words. There is an emotion and attitude that is reflected.

No creatures on earth come near to the attachment to music than humans have. Music can be made sweet or angry. King David understood the value of music and prepared well for the temple which was to be built. That music expressed something more than words could say. It pleased God to the extent that the tabernacle was filled with God's presence (2 Chronicles 5:12-14). There is something about words with music that touches the heart of men and is pleasing to God. Music has much to offer to enrich our lives and that of our fellow man and to please God.
