Jesus tells the story of the wealthy farmer who focused on building bigger barns and developing his holdings. He forgot that this life ends and our destiny lies beyond the physical (Luke 12:18-20). The things we do in this life pave the way to any future that lies beyond. That is why paying attention to our character is of supreme importance.

Our character is a product of the choices we make from the knowledge and experiences we have and the actions we develop out of them. Choosing the right actions leads to the quality character that pleases our Creator. There is no greater goal.
