Job was a man laden with troubles, but he knew that once those tests were passed, he would come forth a better person—like gold (Job 23:10). It is the fight and struggle that makes us strong and refines us. There are enough troubles in life to go around. We need not add to them, but wrestling with those troubles is where we gain strength and experience in wrestling with life.

Great athletes or achievers are admired because others see the effort, determination, persistence and steadfastness that are required to reach great heights. The sad, cynical and fallen are usually those who had no spirit for the fight and no strength for the strife. Every person can begin today to understand his troubles and seek ways to deal with them. That is the first step to success and an appreciation for what the challenges in life offer. Be glad there are challenges and trials because the right handling of them makes you strong (James 1:2-4).
