"Tomorrow never comes" is a lesson parents often try to teach their children. It is a lesson against procrastinating. Putting things off until tomorrow comes naturally. We put off losing weight, writing letters, visiting friends, doing maintenance and so on—often to our regret. "He who is slothful in his work is a brother to him who is a great destroyer" (Proverbs 18:9).

Of course, there are tasks that cannot be completed in one day and things we really need to put off until tomorrow. Wisdom is knowing what needs to be done now and making sure those things are completed. We have intentions of mending our faults tomorrow, but if intentions are all we have, remember—tomorrow never comes. "Just do it" is a good motto.
