It was a choice between obedience and self-will; peace and conflict; eternity and mortality; and true happiness or pain and suffering. But our parents—Adam and Eve—chose to do things their own way, and the impact of that choice reverberates through time to our day.

The choice between God's way—represented by the Tree of Life—and man's way, represented by the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, is still taking place today. It involves you and every person on this earth. You may not realize it, but every single day you make many choices between the fruits of these two trees. Every day you choose between obedience and self-will; peace and conflict; eternity and mortality.

It's a sad statement, but the vast majority of us regularly choose to eat the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Most of humankind decides that they will choose for themselves what is right and wrong—whatever they feel is best in their own interest. Look around you. Our world today reflects this choice in its mess of confusion, conflict and broken hearts and minds.

But an exciting change is coming.
