Here is a partial list of verses that lay out what is accomplished in our lives by faith or through faith or when we believe— fully place our trust in God the Father and Jesus Christ (emphasis added throughout).

We understand that God is the Creator through His Word. Hebrews 11:3 Hebrews 11:3Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
American King James Version×
: “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”

We have access into God’s grace . Romans 5:2 Romans 5:2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
American King James Version×
: “… Through whom [Christ] also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

The Word of God works in us. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 1 Thessalonians 2:13For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which you heard of us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works also in you that believe.
American King James Version×
: “… The word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.”

We are made wise for salvation. 2 Timothy 3:15 2 Timothy 3:15And that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
American King James Version×
: “From childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”

We are redeemed through Christ’s blood, receiving forgiveness of sins. Romans 3:24-25 Romans 3:24-25 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
American King James Version×
: “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed” (compare Ephesians 1:7 Ephesians 1:7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
American King James Version×
).

We are justified—reconciled and made right before God. Romans 3:28 Romans 3:28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
American King James Version×
: “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law” (speaking of initial justification, but deeds follow to remain justified—see Romans 2:13 Romans 2:13(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
American King James Version×
; James 2:14-24 James 2:14-24 14 What does it profit, my brothers, though a man say he has faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say to them, Depart in peace, be you warmed and filled; notwithstanding you give them not those things which are needful to the body; what does it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yes, a man may say, You have faith, and I have works: show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God; you do well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But will you know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 See you how faith worked with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which said, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed to him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 You see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
American King James Version×
).

We are saved from past sins. Ephesians 2:8 Ephesians 2:8For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
American King James Version×
: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.”

We are raised into new life following baptism. Colossians 2:12 Colossians 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also you are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who has raised him from the dead.
American King James Version×
: “… Buried with Him [Christ] in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.”

We receive the Holy Spirit. Galatians 3:14 Galatians 3:14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
American King James Version×
: “… That we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (see also John 7:39 John 7:39(But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
American King James Version×
; Ephesians 1:13 Ephesians 1:13In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
American King James Version×
).

We become God’s children. Galatians 3:26 Galatians 3:26For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
American King James Version×
: “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus” (see also 1 John 5:1 1 John 5:1Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loves him that begat loves him also that is begotten of him.
American King James Version×
).

Christ dwells in our hearts. Ephesians 3:17 Ephesians 3:17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
American King James Version×
: “… That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love …”

Our hearts are purified. Acts 15:8-9 Acts 15:8-9 8 And God, which knows the hearts, bore them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did to us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
American King James Version×
: “God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit … purifying their hearts by faith.”

We are sanctified—set apart. Acts 26:15-18 Acts 26:15-18 15 And I said, Who are you, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom you persecute. 16 But rise, and stand on your feet: for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of these things which you have seen, and of those things in the which I will appear to you; 17 Delivering you from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom now I send you, 18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
American King James Version×
: “And He said, ‘I am Jesus … I now send you [Paul] … to open their eyes … that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me’ ” (see also 2 Thessalonians 2:13 2 Thessalonians 2:13But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brothers beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
American King James Version×
).

We stand accepted among God’s elect. Romans 11:5-19 Romans 11:5-19 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. 7 What then? Israel has not obtained that which he seeks for; but the election has obtained it, and the rest were blinded. 8 (According as it is written, God has given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) to this day. 9 And David said, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling block, and a recompense to them: 10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back always. 11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come to the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness? 13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify my office: 14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. 15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? 16 For if the first fruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 18 Boast not against the branches. But if you boast, you bore not the root, but the root you. 19 You will say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
American King James Version×
: “Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace … Because of unbelief they [disobedient Israelites] were broken off, and you stand by faith” (see also 2 Corinthians 1:24 2 Corinthians 1:24Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith you stand.
American King James Version×
).

We establish God’s law—its validity to us and the ability to keep it. Romans 3:31 Romans 3:31Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yes, we establish the law.
American King James Version×
: “Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law” (see “Faith Puts the Law on ‘Firmer Footing’ ”).

We obey God. Hebrews 11:8 Hebrews 11:8By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing where he went.
American King James Version×
: “By faith Abraham obeyed …”

We are made righteous—in line with God’s law. Philippians 3:9 Philippians 3:9And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
American King James Version×
: “And be found in him [Christ], not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law [that is, vainly attempting to obey God’s law on our own], but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith” (KJV, see also Romans 3:21-22 Romans 3:21-22 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ to all and on all them that believe: for there is no difference:
American King James Version×
).

We live our lives to God. Hebrews 10:38 Hebrews 10:38Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
American King James Version×
: “Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him” (see also Romans 1:17 Romans 1:17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
American King James Version×
; Galatians 3:11 Galatians 3:11But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
American King James Version×
).

We live yielded to Christ in us. Galatians 2:20 Galatians 2:20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
American King James Version×
: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (KJV).

We conduct ourselves as God directs—not according to our own perception. 2 Corinthians 5:7 2 Corinthians 5:7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
American King James Version×
: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

We come confidently before God. Ephesians 3:12 Ephesians 3:12In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
American King James Version×
: “… In whom [Christ] we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.”

We receive what we pray for. Matthew 21:22 Matthew 21:22And all things, whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
American King James Version×
: “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

We expect and experience miracles. Matthew 17:20 Matthew 17:20And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief: for truly I say to you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.
American King James Version×
: “For assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you” (see also Mark 9:23 Mark 9:23Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.
American King James Version×
).

We are healed. Acts 3:16 Acts 3:16And his name through faith in his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know: yes, the faith which is by him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
American King James Version×
: “And His [Jesus’] name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong … Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all” (compare Mark 5:34 Mark 5:34And he said to her, Daughter, your faith has made you whole; go in peace, and be whole of your plague.
American King James Version×
; James 5:15 James 5:15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
American King James Version×
).

We are filled with joy and peace. Romans 15:13 Romans 15:13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
American King James Version×
: “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing.”

We enter God’s rest—His Sabbath in anticipation of the future rest of God’s Kingdom. Hebrews 4:3 Hebrews 4:3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
American King James Version×
: “For we who have believed do enter that rest …” (see all of Hebrews 3:1-19 Hebrews 3:1-19 1 Why, holy brothers, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; 2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. 3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who has built the house has more honor than the house. 4 For every house is built by some man; but he that built all things is God. 5 And Moses truly was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; 6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end. 7 Why (as the Holy Ghost said, To day if you will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. 10 Why I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11 So I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) 12 Take heed, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end; 15 While it is said, To day if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. 16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: however, not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. 17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom swore he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
American King James Version×
-Hebrews 4:1-16 Hebrews 4:1-16 1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For to us was the gospel preached, as well as to them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. 5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 6 Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: 7 Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. 8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 There remains therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11 Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

We have courage to endure trials and receive God’s promises. Hebrews 11:33-34 Hebrews 11:33-34 33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. 34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
American King James Version×
: “… Who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong …”

We overcome the world. 1 John 5:4 1 John 5:4For whatever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.
American King James Version×
: “And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”

We inherit the promises of God. Hebrews 6:12 Hebrews 6:12That you be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
American King James Version×
: “… That you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”

We are kept by God’s power for salvation. 1 Peter 1:5 1 Peter 1:5Who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
American King James Version×
: “… Who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”

We ultimately receive salvation. 1 Peter 1:7-9 1 Peter 1:7-9 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found to praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, you love; in whom, though now you see him not, yet believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
American King James Version×
: “… That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith —the salvation of your souls.”

We are given eternal life. John 3:16 John 3:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
American King James Version×
: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (see also John 3:15 John 3:15That whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
American King James Version×
