Alan has been having issues with his dialysis working properly. They confirmed today that the catheter is blocked and they now have to do surgery today (Wednesday, 8/11) to place a central line and he will have to go to the clinic to have dialysis probably three days a week.  This will be at least for a month as they give the peritoneal cavity and catheter time to recover before he can possibly resume nightly at-home dialysis. Please keep Alan in your prayers during this trying time. He is very nervous about undergoing surgery again.  Monica
