The Buford congregation generally meets for Sabbath services at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Braselton, but will combine with the Atlanta brethren in Peachtree Corners at the Unity building in Peachtree Corners when their hall is unavailable, or on special occasions.
The Unity Atlanta building is located on the NE portion of Atlanta, east of I-285 and off of Peachtree Industrial Blvd and Peachtree Parkway. A Google map can be accessed below ("Get Directions"). When at the Unity building, Sabbath services will generally start at 2:30 pm. The hall will be open at 1:00 pm, so please feel free to arrive early and enjoy the fellowship. There is plenty of parking in front of the hall.
IMPORTANT: COVID-19 Information and Standards for Sabbath Services:
Since Georgia and the nation are dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic we will adher to the Biblical principles of quarantining involving illnesses. If you have any symptoms of an illness, please do not attend services. Further, if you or your family know of someone who has been exposed to COVID-19 and you have had contact with him or her, please do not attend.
For all of those who do attend with us on the Sabbath, here are other precautions that apply:
Sanitizing Surfaces: You are encouraged to bring and use hand sanitizer. We will also have a limited supply of hand sanitizers available at services.
Washing Hands: Please wash your hands before services and as often as needed. Restrooms are located in the lobby.
Masks: Masks are recommended, but not required at services at this time. If you desire to wear a mask, please do so. However, both those that choose to wear a mask, and those who do not, should treat others with sensitivity, patience and respect. [UPDATE - We have now set up a separate room with a video feed for those who desire to wear a mask during the service and want to be only with those wearing a mask.]
Personal Contact and Social Distancing: Throughout your time in the building, please strive to keep a distance of 3’ from others not in your family (as prescribed by recent CDC recommendations for "in-learning" situations. In order to maximize our available seating space, we request that all family members sit together.
Children: Children should remain at all times with a responsible adult or teen family member at services.
Coughing, Sneezing: If you need to cough or sneeze at services, please cover your face or do so into the crook of your elbow.
Song Books: We will not be distributing hymnals for services, but will be projecting the hymn lyrics. You may also download UCG’s Hymnal App on your phone. Feel free to use your own personal hymnal if you have one.
