Services Will Be at the JCC at 2:30 pm November 2, 2019 as Usual

In spite of all the destruction nearby and on their campus on October 20, the JCC is now ready for us to meet there!  We will not need to go to an alternate location after all.  Don Hooser's email regarding the devastation he saw yesterday near the JCC may help prepare you for what you will see when driving to services this Sabbath.   Sherman and Fort Worth are also meeting at their normal times and places, and the Blessing of Little Children takes place this Sabbath.

Northaven Road is open, at least from the N. Central Expressway (or 75 access road) to the JCC.  At some point you may see a sign saying "Local Traffic Only",  but JCC is local, so turn into the gated main entrance as usual.  This is the same entrance we have always used.  As always, your green sticker from the JCC will help you get through security, and it is always possible they will ask for ID.  Parking will be available in the usual places.  You might allow a little extra time for your commute, since clean-up crews could still be on the streets and you will want to be careful.
