Updates

• Jenny Luchitz (North Canton) – Hospitalized after a fall and struggling with recovery. Please pray for Jenny’s healing and encouragement during this time. No hospital visits are allowed, so please send your thoughts and good wishes via her sister, Rhoda Gabriele.

Ongoing:

• Linda Ritter (North Canton) – Linda would appreciate your continued prayers for overall health improvement. 
• Janice Walters (North Canton) – Recovering from a fall down the stairs. Prayers for a quick recovery are greatly appreciated.
• John Williamson – John, son-in-law of Louis and Carol Petit, continues his fight with cancer. Please pray for his healing and strength for his wife Lisa as she copes with the stress.
• Steve Richmond (Cambridge) – Steve continues to battle cancer, please keep him in your prayers.

3.      MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR LYNN COLEMAN

For those who knew Lynn, the honor of your presence is requested as we remember our loved one.

A memorial service to remember the life of Lynn Coleman will be held Sunday, July 19, 2020, from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Belmont Gym, 209 Brown Street, Belmont, Ohio, near Paul's home.

Please join us for the memorial service given by Len Martin, starting at 2:30, followed by an opportunity to reminisce on our memories of Lynn, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Keeping COVID 19 guidelines in mind, snacks will be provided.

4.      FESTIVAL ASSISTANCE

If you have not already, and know you will have need of festival assistance, please contact your local Feast Advisor, by phone, email, or in person, to fill out the proper forms.

 

5.      FESTIVAL CHILDREN’S CHOIR MUSIC NOW AVAILABLE

The Festival Children's Choir selections are now available for download on the UCG Feast website at: https://www.ucg.org/members/feast/childrens-choir-music

The guidelines for the Children's Choir are posted there as well as vocal and instrumental versions of the two songs and lyric sheets. Parents, please follow the posted guidelines and be sure your children know the songs before arriving at the Feast.

6.      ATTENTION FESTIVAL YOUTH INSTRUCTORS

The lessons for festival youth instructors teaching at the Feast of Tabernacles 2020 have been posted online at https://www.ucg.org/members/news/2020-festival-youth-instruction. There are two lessons each for grades K-2 and grades 3-6, one lesson for each of the two days of festival youth instruction classes at the Feast. Crafts and activities are included in the lesson plan.

7.      SPIRAL HYMNAL UPDATE

As previously announced, the impact of the coronavirus has caused the spiral hymnal printing to be delayed. Now that the printing company's employees are back at work, the hymnal is now in process and should be ready for distribution by early August. Thank you for your patience!

8.      UNITED YOUTH CAMPS – Teen Friday Night Bible Discussions

Our live Bible Study program for teens begins Friday evening, and will continue each Friday evening for six sessions. The Bible discussion will be password protected, so it is necessary for all teens to get the password from their pastor before signing on--the password will be the same for all six sessions. Teens, your pastor may choose to email you this password or you may contact him. Please do not share the password with anyone, but be sure you get the password ahead of time. The Bible Study video and Zoom discussion begin at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central or 7 p.m. Pacific/8 p.m. Mountain (pick your time). Log onto uyc.ucg.orgat one of these two times Friday evening, beginning June 26. We hope these Bible studies and discussions will be a great way for our teens to learn about God and connect with each other.
