2 Thessalonians 3:1 is the focus scripture for this week:

"Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified, just as it is with you.”

Since the council of elders is convening this week, our thoughts and prayers should be that God would inspire effective and harmonious meetings that the true gospel might be more accurately and effectively preached.
