Greetings Brethren,

The focus scripture for this week is Philippians 2:12 (last part) -13. 

"... work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do his good pleasure."

God, through His calling and the gift of His Holy Spirit produces within us the knowledge of and the desire for salvation. Without His help we can make no progress toward it. We must also do our part in the ongoing process by consciously bringing every thought, word and action into compliance with God's perfect will.
