Good afternoon brethren, 

The focus scripture for this week is Proverbs 28:9.

"One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination." 

When someone decides to go his own way and not follow God's laws, God will turn away from even hearing their prayers. We must continue diligently and sincerely to do as God teaches us and not be hypocrites.
