God is the master of timing

Mark 1:14-15 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

Matthew 4:17 “From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’”

Luke 4:43 but He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent.”

Luke 8:1 “…He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God.”

A Consistent Message

Luke 22:16 “for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

Acts 1:3 “…being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.”

Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

How is His Kingdom at Hand For You?

Philippians 3:20-21: “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.”

Colossians 1:13: “He has rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son…”

Revelation 1:5-6 “…He is the One who loves us, who made us free from our sins with the blood of his death.6 He made us to be a kingdom of priests who serve God his Father. To Jesus Christ be glory and power forever and ever! Amen.” (NCV)

An Amazing Privilege

Revelation 5:9-10 “…and with the blood of your death you [Jesus] bought people for God from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
10 You made them to be a kingdom of priests for our God, and they will rule on the earth.”

John 12:32: “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” (NIV)

2 Timothy 1:9: “[God] has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began…”

John 6:65: “And He said, ‘Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.’”

Why Me?

Matthew 13:10-17: “His disciples came and asked him, ‘Why do you use parables when you talk to the people?’ He replied, ‘You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them. That is why I use these parables, for they look, but they don’t really see. They hear, but they don’t really listen or understand. This fulfills the prophecy of Isaiah that says, ‘When you hear what I say, you will not understand. When you see what I do, you will not comprehend. For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes—so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to me and let me heal them.’ But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but they didn’t see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn’t hear it” (New Living Translation).

John 6:44: “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

2 Corinthians 6:1-2: “We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says: ‘In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.’ Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. NLT: 2 For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you”…Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

Isaiah 55:6: “Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.”

The Most Important Invitation of All Time

1 Thessalonians 2:12-13 We pleaded with you, encouraged you, and urged you to live your lives in a way that God would consider worthy. For he called you to share in his Kingdom and glory. 13 Therefore, we never stop thanking God that when you received his message from us, you didn’t think of our words as mere human ideas. You accepted what we said as the very word of God—which, of course, it is. And this word continues to work in you who believe. (NLT)

Romans 6:23 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Revelation 1:3: “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time [kairos] is near.”
