Seeing God Through Creation: The Endless Universe
Seeing God Through Creation
The Endless Universe
When God wanted the patriarch Job to develop a closer relationship with Him, God challenged Job to think deeply about creation. God wants all humans to see just how great He is, so He challenges us to look at 1) the vastness of universe, 2) the wonders of the earth, 3) the miracles of life, 4) and the uniqueness of God’s plan for human beings.
This Family Study focuses on the vast, endless universe that God created and challenges to ponder big questions: Can you direct the movement of the stars—binding the cluster of the Pleiades or loosening the cords of Orion? Can you direct the sequence of the seasons or guide the Bear with her cubs across the heavens? Do you know the laws of the universe? Can you use them to regulate the earth? (Job 38:31-33 Job 38:31-33 [31] Can you bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
[32] Can you bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or can you guide Arcturus with his sons?
[33] Know you the ordinances of heaven? can you set the dominion thereof in the earth?
