Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin 2012
The Dells continues to be a draw for God’s people as a location for the Feast of Tabernacles. This year marks the 40th year we have held services for the Feast in the Dells—the longest continuous location in our history!
The Dells offer a unique combination of location, surroundings and activities in which to hold the Feast of Tabernacles: the blaze of autumn colors in the turning of the tree leaves; the unique sandstone formations are interesting to view (especially from one of the water tours); the enormous indoor water parks, go-cart racing, hiking, riding the famous amphibious “Ducks”; state parks; as well as a variety of restaurants and quaint shops. Wisconsin Dells is a unique site in its family atmosphere and accessibility.
Services will once again be held at the beautiful Crystal Grand Music Theater. This modern facility will comfortably seat more than we plan on attending in the Dells and is ideal for lingering conversations and fellowship. Parking is conveniently located next to the facility.
There is a large variety of housing including ultra-modern theme resorts with elaborate indoor water parks and multi-family condominiums. There are also homes and cottages available for rent on lakes, rivers or in the woods. A large variety of condominiums are available in various prices ranges. Traditional style motels offer an exceptional value. Several facilities offer large indoor water parks and whirlpool suites, so ask about them when making reservations. All establishments require a housing deposit, and cancellation policies vary, so ask about them when making reservations. Most accommodations are within a few minutes’ drive of the Crystal Grand Music Theater.
All this and more is what makes the Wisconsin Dells a great site for the entire family.
The Madison, Wisconsin, airport is an hour away from the Dells, the Milwaukee airport is two hours away, and Chicago O’Hare is three hours away. The weather at Wisconsin Dells can vary from beautiful autumn weather to crisper temperatures.
