×Nestled amid gently rolling peaks, the Gatlinburg area is one of the most popular vacation and honeymoon locations in the United States. It is also the gateway to the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Come and enjoy a spiritually rewarding Feast as you relax in a peaceful, safe environment amid natural splendor. Here is information to help you make your plans.
Feast Services and Activities: Along with daily services, special seminars and Bible studies, we expect to have a family day, which will include activities for everyone. We anticipate having an evening at Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show, a family dance, opportunities at Ober Gatlinburg (a beautiful area in the mountains above Gatlinburg) and a possible activity at Ripley’s Aquarium.
Daily Temperature: During September the average daily high temperature is about 80 degrees with a low of about 55 degrees.
Housing: Various housing accommodations are available including motels, efficiencies, one- to three-bedroom condominiums and many fully furnished homes and chalets. Prices range from $30 to $200 per night.
Dining: Over 100 restaurants are available for you to enjoy anything from a pizza to a perfectly done steak, or even the latest in regional cuisine. Entertainment: The area provides a unique range of entertainment, arts, shopping and attractions. You can choose live music or theater, dinner shows or dancing. Even walking along the lively main street throughout the afternoon or evening can be relaxing. You can watch artists and artisans at their easels and pottery wheels throughout the vibrant crafts community either in the galleries downtown or on the eight-mile-long crafts loop that begins just outside of town.
The Great Outdoors: A large part of what makes Gatlinburg such a fine meeting place is the great outdoors. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park sits at your doorstep, offering 800 square miles of spectacular flora, fauna and outdoor activities. There are over 900 miles of hiking trails so you can explore forests and waterfalls while enjoying stunning mountain vistas.
Parking and Trolley Service. Parking fees vary and range from $5—$18 per day. Trolley service is available in downtown Gatlinburg from 8 a.m. to midnight during September. The fare is 50 cents each time you board the trolley (exact change is required). A trolley pass may be purchased for $2 per day for unlimited access to downtown routes. The trolley pass may be purchased at Gatlinburg Welcome Centers and/or City Hall. Many of the properties are located on the trolley route, which will take you directly to the convention center. Special routes are available for an additional fee to the Arts and Crafts Community, a portion of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and to Dollywood.
More Information: We warmly welcome you to join fellow brethren for an enjoyable physical and spiritually fulfilling Feast. If you need additional information about the Gatlinburg area please go online to www. gatlinburg.com.
