×The Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area is one of the most popular vacation and honeymoon locations in the United States. It is also the gateway to the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Come and enjoy a spiritually rewarding Feast as you celebrate with fellow brethren in a peaceful, safe environment amid beautiful autumn colors. Here is information to help you make your plans.
Feast Services and Activities: Along with daily services, special seminars and Bible studies, we expect to have a special family dinner and dance event, which combines hosting the senior citizen’s buffet and family and teen dance. Other activities and events will be announced later on the UCG members website at feast.ucg.org/.
Daily Temperature: The average daily high temperature is 69 degrees and a low of 56 degrees during October.
Housing: Accommodations include motels, efficiencies, one to three bedroom condominiums and fully furnished homes and chalets. Prices range from $45 to $200 per night.
Dining: Over a hundred restaurants are on hand throughout the area. Anything from a pizza to a perfectly done steak, or even the latest in regional cuisine is available for your dining pleasure.
Entertainment: The area provides a unique range of entertainment, arts, shopping and attractions. You can choose live music or theater, dinner shows or dancing. Even walking along the lively main street in Gatlinburg during the afternoon or evening can be enjoyable. You can watch artists and artisans at their easels and pottery wheels throughout the vibrant crafts community in the galleries downtown or on the eight mile long crafts loop that begins just outside of town. Numerous activities are also available for the whole family in the nearby Pigeon Forge and Sevierville areas. These include family shows, miniature golf courses, go-kart tracks, shopping and much more.
The Great Outdoors: A large part of what makes the area so attractive is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It offers 800 square miles of spectacular flora, fauna and outdoor activities. There are over 900 miles of hiking trails so you can explore forests and waterfalls while enjoying stunning mountain vistas.
Parking and Trolley Service: Parking fees range from $5-$18 per day. Trolley service is available in Gatlinburg from 8:30 a.m. to midnight during October. The fare is 50 cents each time you board the trolley (exact change is required). A trolley pass can be purchased for $2 per day for unlimited access to downtown routes. The trolley pass can be purchased at Gatlinburg City Hall or Welcome Centers located on the trolley routes. Trolleys can take you directly to the convention center. Special routes are available for an additional fee to the Arts and Crafts Community, to a portion of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Dollywood family amusement park.
