We are pleased that the Phoenix area will again be a Feast site for 2016. The location of the site is about 10 short minutes from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. The facility is a very comfortable hall suited for services. It will accommodate up to 220 people (there is not a fragrance-free room). Many different opportunities should be available for fellowship, as the facility has the ability to accommodate many activities. A seniors banquet and a family day activity are part of the planned activities.
There are many places of interest in the Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale, and Phoenix area. There are plenty of golf courses, multiple zoos/aquariums, boat rental at Tempe Town Lake, and you can even ride a camel at the nearby Phoenix Zoo. Visit the world class Musical Instrument Museum, the Science Museum, Desert Botanical Gardens, or numerous art galleries. There are many fine dining options and wine tasting venues nearby.
This area is filled with unique desert mountain vistas and many hiking trails.
Come early and stay over, as some housing prices will be held for five days before and after the Feast, and visit the Grand Canyon (four hours away) or Karchner Caverns State Park. Very affordable housing at two locations (with full breakfasts and transportation to and from services daily, or anywhere within five miles) is available.
