×The Feast of Tabernacles in Colombia will once again be held in the picturesque and charming colonial city of Cartagena, on the northern Caribbean coast. Cartagena is quite deservedly the most visited city and destination by tourists in the country. Founded in 1533, Cartagena’s colonial walled city and fortress were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Cartagena is fascinating—a history embedded in ancient forts, churches and palaces; a walled town filled with exquisite 16th and 17th century Spanish colonial architecture; soft beaches; world-class snorkeling and scuba diving reefs; delightful restaurants; and enough shops to capture your interest without the place feeling like one gigantic mall.
We will again be holding the Feast in the 3 1/2 star Hotel Regatta Cartagena, located on the pleasant sandy beach of the balmy Caribbean sea, offering 111 modern and spacious rooms of high comfort, excellent views of the sea and the city, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safety deposit box, free 24 hour Wi-Fi, two pools, multilingual staff and laundry services. Included in this package will be three all-you-can-eat, plenteous buffet meals daily, offering local and international cuisine. The Rafael Nunez International Airport is a short 15 minutes away.
The average daily high temperatures are 85-90 degrees Fahrenheit, and the lows are 75-80. Translation into English will be available for services and activities held in the hotel.
We warmly welcome and anticipate U.S. and other international attendees! Colombian brethren, as well as those transferring in, will all be staying in the same hotel. We have a variety of activities to be shared by all, as well as intriguing options for visiting the city and its attractions. “Cartagena is a popular tourist destination and venue for major conferences and presents a very low risk to business travelers” (ICANN the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). It is also a very popular cruise ship destination, with multiple ships bringing thousands annually. It is a safe area with hundreds of thousands of tourists visiting the city every year. We have had no safety or security problems.
Please come join us for a relaxing and inspiring Feast with your brethren and family from Colombia!
