Once again this year, we will have the opportunity for a service project for the Glynn Community Crisis Center. The organization provides emergency shelter and other services to battered and/or abused adults and children. It includes "Amity House", a 24 hour emergency shelter, "Hope House", a 2-month to 2-year transitional living facility and "Community Outreach" which provides education about domestic violence.
We will be taking donations(not monetary donations but supplies) during the feast, and they will pick up the supplies toward the end of the feast. I have attached a list of the supplies most applicable to their needs. We will have boxes each day at the feast to collect the donations. They have been extremely appreciative of our help in the past.
Thank you for any supplies donated again this year. I am attaching the file of needed supplies where you can consider what you might like to donate at the feast in Jekyll Island.
