Almost all of the activities are held in the hotel, or near the hotel, (as with the beach activity which is just across the street from the hotel).

Children’s Bible Study

The Cartagena Feast Site is very family orientated. This study, led by one of the members from Colombia is very much “hands on”, with instruction from God’s Word at the child’s level. It is very popular.

Welcome Party

This is toward the beginning of the Feast, for local brethren from Colombia and all visitors from other countries.  It helps set the tone of the Feast, as we are indeed one family.

Children’s Activity

Children of all ages and their parents enjoy games, snack catered to their liking, and fellowship for part of an afternoon.

Speaker’s Training Class

This is an activity where the men from all the congregations in Colombia are given instruction and encouragement in areas related to serving the local congregations in Colombia. All visitors are welcome to attend, and most do.

Ladies Afternoon Activity

This is for the teen girls and ladies. Usually some type of craft activity is involved, taught by one of the local talented members from Colombia. The items made are then taken home with the creators, and serve as a welcome reminder of the Feast and activity.

Talent Night  

This is a very lively evening where local talent and visitors share music, dance, skits, etc. and share with each other culture and lifestyle in a relaxed and upbeat atmosphere.

Women’s Seminar   

This is an activity especially for the ladies and wives in the Colombian congregations with a topic of interest to them. It is presented by the wife of the pastor, and usually as well as the visiting wife of a minister who visits.

Beach Party   

All brethren spend the cooler part of the afternoon at the beach, swimming, wading, playing fútbol, games, and enjoying snacks provided by the Feast Site.

Bible Study   

This takes place one evening during the Feast, often on Friday night, and is instruction for all from the Word of God.

Family Dance  

Music for all ages, including local and international choices, snacks and beverages included. This is always a favorite!

Bus Tour of the City of Cartagena  

An all afternoon activity where the brethren as a group take a tour of the city, stopping at various locals, and shops and getting back on, along the way, ending with a stop at an ice cream tienda for all to enjoy. 

Handicrafts Exhibition and Auction  

These are items handmade by the Colombia brethren, and are auctioned off to the highest bidder. Local brethren and visitors are in attendance, and offer their bids. It has become quite popular for all, with much enthusiasm! The proceeds are used as a tip at the end of the Feast for the hotel staff who have served us. You won't want to miss this!

Focused Education Seminar 

Culturally appropriate and relevant topics are addressed for those that wish to attend. The topic will be relayed to all attendees a few weeks prior to the start of the Feast. This is presented by the pastor of Colombia who happens to also oversee Focused Education for the UCG.
