A shuttle bus will be provided to and from the Geneva airport on Friday, September 21 (if we confirm enough need), Sunday, September 23, and Tuesday, October 2.  For those purchasing a shuttle from the Geneva airport, you will receive a questionnaire asking for your flight # and arrival times on August 1, 2018.

The per-person cost for the shuttle will be €35 (infants under 2 are free).

American and Canadian citizens need valid passports for travel to France, but no visa is currently required if the visit is less than 90 days. For citizens of the European Union, a national ID card is all that is required. Visitors from countries other than those mentioned above should check with the nearest French consulate or embassy to verify travel formalities.
 

FROM GENEVA, SWITZERLAND

By plane: Fly into Geneva Airport, located about 50 km away from Évian-les-Bains. Shuttle transportation from the airport to the Feast site will be available Friday, September 21, if we confirm enough need, Sunday, September 23, and Tuesday, October 2.
 

By car: From Geneva Airport:

-Take Route de la Vorge, Route François-Peyrot, Route de Ferney, Avenue de France and Quai du Mont-Blanc to Pont du Mont-Blanc in Genève (18 min/7.4km)
-Continue on Pont du Mont-Blanc to Quai Gustave-Ador (2 min/600m)
-Follow Quai Gustave-Ador, Quai de Cologny and Route de Thonon to Route RN5/D1005 in Anières (15 min/10.7km)
-Follow D1005 to Avenue de Lausanne in Évian-les-Bains, France (38 min/33.4km)
-Continue on Avenue de Lausanne. Drive to Quai Paul Léger (2 min/350m)

Total drive time should be approximately 1 hour without traffic.
 

FROM LYON, FRANCE

By train: Buy a train ticket from the Lyon-Part-Dieu train station to the Évian-les-Bains train station.

You can purchase tickets from the following website***: https://en.oui.sncf/en/

Tickets cost about 30-50 Euros each. Typical travel time from Lyon to Évian-les-Bains by train is 3-4 hours. The Évian-les-Bains train station is 2.3km (about a 7-minute drive) from the VVF Villages resort where you will be staying. Take a Taxi or Uber to the VVF Resort.

By car: From Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport:

-Continue to Saint-Laurent-de-Mure (5 min/5.1km)
-Take A43, A41 and A410 to Route de Bons en Chablais/D903 in Saint-Cergues. Take the exit toward Machilly/Saint-Cergues/Bons-en-Chablais/Thonon from D1206 (1hr33min/169km)
-Get on D1005 in Thonon-les-Bains from D903 (21 min/18.6km)
-Merge onto D1005 (4 min/5km)
-Follow D1005 to Quai Paul Léger in Évian-les-Bains (14 min/8.8km)

Total drive time should be approximately 2.5 hours without traffic. Please note: this route includes a toll road that will cost about 20 Euros.
 

FROM PARIS, FRANCE

By train: Buy a train ticket from the Paris Gare de Lyon train station to the Évian-les-Bains train station.

Tickets can cost 50-180 Euros each, depending on your travel date/time and how far in advance you buy your ticket. Typical travel time from Paris to Évian-les-Bains by train is 4-6 hours. Direct routes are available, but many tickets include transfers at different train stations. The Évian-les-Bains train station is 2.3km (about a 7-minute drive) from the VVF Villages resort where you will be staying.

-Get on N2 in Mitry-Mory from N1104 (2 min/3km)

-Follow D1005 to Quai Paul Léger in Évian-les-Bains (14 min/8.8km)
