Come and enjoy the 2018 Feast of Tabernacles in New York’s beautiful Adirondack Region. Lake George is a 32-mile-long lake fed by mammoth underground springs and is described as one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the world. A drive to the top of Prospect Mountain will reward you with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains as far away as Vermont and New Hampshire.
With temperatures in the 50s and 60s the brilliant fall foliage will provide a stunning backdrop for the spiritual Feast we all look forward to. Opportunities abound for hiking, biking, scenic cruising the lake, horseback riding, dining out and shopping. The lake is surrounded by more than a dozen quaint little towns and villages.
The area is rich in early American history, but there are many other attractions, such as a performing arts theater, a world-class art museum, the Six-Flags Great Escape Theme Park, miniature golf, family fun centers, boating, fishing, golfing and year-round “snow” tubing.
A wonderful group dinner cruise for all ages with live entertainment will be offered during the Feast of Tabernacles. Pre-registration is required.
Another very special feature of this site will be a Friday evening roundtable discussion with meaningful topics provided to each table.
Services will be held at the Fort William Henry Conference Center, overlooking the lake. This location is ideal for lingering conversations and fellowship. Parking is conveniently located onsite with level parking lots and convenient passenger drop off. Most housing accommodations are within a few minutes’ drive. This is a restricted site with capacity of about 425. Transfer requests will be approved up to capacity.
Sabbath services on September 22nd will be held at the Fort William Henry Conference Center at 2:30.
Also of note, for those who plan to arrive early, the Adirondack Balloon Festival in nearby Queensbury, will run through Sunday the 23rd, weather permitting.
