×The Feast in South Africa will be in the seaside town of Margate, on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. This part of the country is a beautiful, relaxed, tranquil subtropical area benefiting from warm Indian Ocean currents.
Margate is just over 160 kilometers south of King Shaka International Airport in Durban—less than a two-hour drive. Margate itself also has a small airport with once-a-day direct flights from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
Services are held in the Margate Community Hall, an air-conditioned hall with ample parking.
Overseas visitors are most welcome and have always enjoyed this Feast site. The value of the local currency makes it particularly appealing for visitors, and the South African brethren always enjoy and appreciate your attendance.
The anticipated 150-plus Feastgoers will find that the emphasis is on fellowship and togetherness, beginning with an opening service and “welcome function,” giving the opportunity for fellowship, and ends with a catered lunch between services on the Eighth Day and a “farewell barbecue” later that evening. Various other activities are also planned, along with enough free time to explore the area and enjoy the warm-water beaches.
Planned activities include a family day, a seniors’ lunch, a youth activity, a dinner/family dance and two or three interactive Bible studies.
Many other places of interest are also within easy reach, including a marine reserve, a game reserve, a crocodile farm, art galleries, a zipline and a variety of restaurants.
Because the Feast starts on a Sunday evening (Sept. 23 at 7 p.m.), there will probably be a Sabbath service the previous day for those who might already have arrived on Friday. Please check closer to the time whether this will in fact be the case.
Location of Services: Margate Community Hall in Vikings Road, Margate.
