The 2019 Brazilian festival site will be held near Boa Vista, Roraima, in Northern Brazil at a site that has been reserved for the exclusive use of the Church. This site is approximately 15 miles from downtown and has a swimming pool and a small water playground for children among the palm trees. The road is good, except for the last section of gravel to access the private resort site. Services will be held in an air-conditioned hall, which is currently under construction.
The Feast is bilingual (English and Portuguese) and caters for both the Brazilian brethren and a few English-speaking brethren from neighboring Guyana. Last year we had an attendance of 52 local brethren.
Service times: the first service will be held at 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 13. Services will be held every morning at 10 a.m. Two additional Bible Studies will also be held during the Feast. On the Last Great Day (Oct. 21) there will be services in the morning (10 a.m.) and afternoon (2 p.m.).
Reservations: accommodation is available at hotels in Boa Vista. To register and discuss hotel availability please contact the Festival Coordinator Jorge de Campos at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone at +1 (513) 907-9774 (mobile number).
Traveling to Brazil: traveling to Brazil will require a Visa for U.S. citizens. If you fly directly from the U.S. you will not need any vaccinations. To reduce costs, when you search for flights and prices, choose a return flight to Manaus, then separately buy an internal return ticket between Manaus and Boa Vista.
