The Sri Lankan brethren extend a warm invitation to their brothers and sisters worldwide to attend the Feast of Tabernacles 2019 in Sri Lanka. The island country is in the Northern Indian Ocean. The Feast will be held at the Royal Palms Beach Hotel on the Southwestern coastline of Sri Lanka, known as the pearl of the Indian Ocean. The beautiful beach resort is just 40  kilometers from Colombo (a 1.5-hour drive) and 83 kilometers from the Colombo International Airport (about a 2-hour drive). Local brethren will assist in coordinating transportation options from the airport or from the city of Colombo to the Feast site at request. (Transportation costs are uncertain at this time, but we can provide estimates: a car would cost roughly SLR 6,300 or $35 USD; an eight-seater van would be around SLR 10,000 or $55 USD.)

All brethren will be staying at the Royal Palms. The hotel “Banquet Hall” will also be the site for services each day. Services will be in English.

Feast attendees have the unique and enjoyable opportunity to dine together at the hotel. Three buffet meals are provided each day, featuring local Sri Lankan dishes and excellent international cuisine. The main restaurant offers beach views from its open terrace. All three buffet meals are included in the room cost. There is also a poolside 24-hour coffee shop and tea/coffee set up in the rooms.

Rooms are set in tropical landscapes and have private balconies. Air-conditioned rooms are furnished with carved wood fittings and warm colors. Guests can exercise at the gym (free of charge) or play a leisurely game of billiards (for a fee). 

Family day in Sri Lanka is a traditional afternoon favorite where feastgoers experience a special day full of games, surprises and fun. Cricket, which the whole family and every international visitor is given a chance to play, is great fun. Lastly, the Feast variety show is sure to be a highlight as there is much talent among the Sri Lankan brethren.

Feast Registration: To register go to www.ucg-srilanka.org/feast. A $45 (USD) registration fee (per family) is required and will be applied to the Feast hotel and conference expenses.

Hotel Reservations: Once you have registered, you will be emailed Feast information and updates. You will then be requested to send your international flight details. Upon receipt of flight information your hotel reservation for the dates of your stay will be confirmed.
