×This is the first time in our 22-year history that UCG has held a Feast of Tabernacles in Haiti. The newest congregation in the Caribbean will host the Feast in the city of Mirebalais, a 2-hour drive from the capital of Port-au-Prince. Mirebalais is located in the mountains of central Haiti, much quieter and more peaceful than the capital city.
Services and activities will take place in the brand new UCG Haiti congregation’s Assembly Hall and Learning Center three miles from the city’s center.
Mirebalais is a city of 180,000 located in the hills 37 miles outside of Port-au-Prince. Overseas attendees will fly into the Port-au-Prince (PAP) airport. A shuttle service will be available. Rental cars are available, but only recommended if you are familiar with driving in Haiti.
Oversees attendees will be staying at the Wozo Plaza Hotel, 3, Route Nationale, Ledier, Mirebalais. Wozo is a safe, clean, hospitable hotel two miles from the meeting hall. It has all the amenities including air conditioning, hot water, a swimming pool and a restaurant on the premises. We are limited to 20 rooms. Room cost is around US $100 per night. A shuttle will be provided daily for transport throughout the Feast.
Various activities are being planned for all to participate in together, including a game night and a movie night. Lunch will be served daily during the Feast after services. Services will be held alternately in English and Creole with translations.
We invite all who want to experience a different but most rewarding Feast in a spiritually uplifting environment. It is one place you will be able to make a real difference. And although one of the poorest countries in the world, our new congregation in Haiti is a powerful example of zeal for God’s truth and the fruits of preaching the gospel into the world.
Expected attendance is around 200, including up to 40 transfers from overseas.
