As I write there are only 10 more days until the Opening Services of the Feast.  I have attached the usual form that we send out each year with Useful Information about our Feast site.  Click the “Downloads” button on the right side of this page to get the attachment. 

Here are of a few things that are on the form (and a few that are not) that I wanted to emphasize:   

• We will be having Services in Montego Bay on the Day of Atonement at 11:00 noon at Palm View Guest House, 22 Delisser Drive, Montego Bay, St. James.    Transportation will be provided from the Hilton Rose Hall resort.  
• We have our Weekly Sabbath service on Saturday, October 12, in the Hilton Rose Hall main Ballroom at 2:30 pm.  
• There will a higher ratio of non-member guests this year than last year.  I know that we rely on God for our safety and protection, but we also have to do our part.  Teenagers should use the "Buddy" system and pre-teens should always have supervision everywhere in the hotel. 
• We will be taking up an Offering at the Feast.  All funds donated in Jamaica will stay in Jamaica to help the Jamaican brethren preach the Gospel in this region.  Last year they generously shared a portion of the offerings with their less-fortunate neighbors in Haiti. Checks will need to be made out to:  UCGIA - Jamaica Limited
•  If U.S. members traveling abroad want their Holy Day offerings to be included in their end-of-year donation receipt for tax purposes, they are encouraged to mail their offerings directly to the home office in Cincinnati, before or after the Feast. In this way, your contributions will be appropriately receipted and reported to the IRS, allowing you to take a tax deduction at year-end.
