August 3, 2020 UPDATE: The Philippines will not be able to have face-to-face meetings this fall. A national webcast is being planned to provide services each day to members scattered across the islands. International visitors are not allowed into the Philippines at this time. Only those with Philippines passports may enter the country.
Baguio is a city in the northern mountain province of Benguet on the Island of Luzon, some 260 kilometers (160 miles) north of Manila. Being one of the very few temperate places in this predominantly warm and humid tropical country, it is known as the Summer Capital of the Philippines.
As in the past 19 consecutive years, the Festival Location for this year’s Feast of Tabernacles in Baguio City will again be at a conference hall of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) Ang Ating Tahanan grounds. The multi-purpose hall where services will again be held can easily accommodate as many as 150 Feastgoers.
This year, we are expecting some 120 attendees. These will mostly be brethren coming from the Luzon Island regions. But as in past years, we always eagerly welcome and look forward to overseas brethren, especially those coming from international areas who want to enjoy and celebrate the Feast with us this year.
Location of Services: Multi-purpose Conference Hall of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) Ang Ating Tahanan grounds along South Drive, Baguio City, Philippines.
