Most usually book accommodations through Airbnb and have been pleased with the prices and value. There are many suites, apartments, condos and holiday houses for rent at very good rates on the Airbnb website https://www.airbnb.ca/s/Cochrane--Canada. Be sure to check the location of the accommodation before booking.

If you wish to stay at a hotel in the area, it is best to use the online hotel booking agencies (Expedia or Travelocity). This way, you can get a better value than what the church can negotiate. The hotels in Cochrane are the Ramada Inn (1-403-932-6355), the Days Inn (1-403-932-5588) and the Super 8 (1-844-838-0484). For those looking for a less expensive motel option in Cochrane there is the Bow River Inn (1-403-932-7900). 

There are also many hotels on the west end of Calgary that are within a 20-30 minute drive from Cochrane such as the Sheraton Four Points or the Sandman Inn and Suites Calgary West. 

As the church has not negotiated room rates, you are free to book your accommodation at your earliest convenience.
