Hello everyone,

Over the next several days I will be sending those on the Community numerous updates concerning the Gatlinburg Feast Site, activities at the site for you to be aware of, and some requests from some of the departments in which we can use a bit more help.

It is hard to believe the Feast is less than three weeks away. We currently have just over 720 registered with a capacity of 800. So all is going well overall, although there will be a great deal of work to do between now and the beginning of the Feast. The first service will be Friday evening at 7:30 pm EST. For those that may not know, we have posted the schedule on the Gatlinburg Feast website under the Calendar section.

Rather than sending a lot of requests an information all at once, I will be sending posts with more details for various activities and requests over the next few days. One thing I will mention in this email is that being at a site without prior history as this is a new site location, there are numerous things we will be having to obtain. Most we will be able to take care of internally, but I would like to ask if anyone happens to have a wheelchair they might be able to bring that could be used in Special Services. We will need at least two wheelchairs and I am sure we can rent wheelchairs somewhere in the area, but if you happen to have one you might be able to bring please let me know.

As we prepare for the entire fall Holy Day season, let me wish you each health and safety as you prepare for the Feast this year.
