Your brethren in Sri Lanka warmly invite you to attend the Feast of Tabernacles with them at the Habarana Village by Cinnamon. Habarana is a small city within the cultural triangle of Anuradhapura, Pollonnaruwa and Kandy in the North-central province of the beautiful island of Sri Lanka, which is known as the Pearl of the Indian Ocean.

The Gamsabha Conference Hall at the Habarana Village will be the site for daily services, which will be in English. All brethren will be staying at this same venue and are blessed with the unique and enjoyable opportunity to dine together each day. Three buffet meals are included in the room cost. Meals will be served in the El Hena Restaurant, which provides buffet meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring local Sri Lankan dishes as well as excellent international cuisine.

The Habarana Village by Cinnamon is a 4-hour drive from the Bandaranaike International Airport and 6 hours from the city of Colombo. If requested, local brethren will be happy to assist in coordinating transportation options from the airport or from Colombo to the Feast site. The Village offers bungalow-style rooms surrounded by greenery with a nearby lake for boating. The air-conditioned rooms at Habarana Village come with private terraces, a TV, a safety deposit box and tea/coffee-making facilities. Family time during the Feast is a traditional favorite in Sri Lanka. You’ll experience a special afternoon full of surprises and fun, followed by another afternoon of cricket for the whole family. The variety show and family dance are also a highlight as the Sri Lankan brethren are very talented and musical.

The hotel has an outdoor pool and facilities for softball, cricket, tennis, volleyball and badminton. The hotel also offers tours such as hiking in the Ritigala jungle or riding an ox cart in Hiriwadunna. For those who dare to be adventurous, The Minneriya National Park, The Sigiriya Fortress and Pidurangala Rock (Sigiriya Fortress can be viewed from this vantage point) are all less than a 30-minute drive from the hotel. The ancient city of Anuradhapura is about 90 minutes away.

A visit to Sri Lanka will be a life-changing experience.
