The newest congregation in the Caribbean will host the Feast in the city of Mirebalais, a two-hour drive from the capital of Port-au-Prince. Mirebalais is located in the mountains of central Haiti and is much quieter and more peaceful than the capital city.
Services and activities will take place in the new UCG Haiti congregation’s Assembly Hall and Learning Center three miles from the city’s center.
Mirebalais is a city of 180,000 in the hills, about 37 miles outside of Port-au-Prince. Overseas visitors can plan to fly into the Port-au-Prince (PAP) airport. Rental cars are available, but only recommended if you are familiar with driving in Haiti. A shuttle service will be available.
Various activities are being planned for all to participate in together, including a game night and a movie night. A local lunch will be served daily during the Feast after services.
Services will be held alternately in English and Creole with translations.
We invite all who want to experience a different but most rewarding Feast in a spiritually uplifting environment. It is one place you will be able to make a real difference. And although one of the poorest countries in the world, our new congregation in Haiti is a powerful example of zeal for God’s truth and the fruits of preaching the gospel into the world.
Expected attendance is around 200 people, including up to 40 transfers from overseas.
