Panama City Beach

Panama City Beach will be a wonderful place to come and worship God while keeping the Feast of Tabernacles this year! With average temperatures in the mid-80s, lots of sun, crystal clear blue-green waters, and well-kept, white sandy beaches, it is not difficult to picture the soon-coming Kingdom of God!

Services are held each day at the Edgewater Beach Resort. Edgewater which offers one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums overlooking the beach and pools. Those staying in the condos can either ride a tram or walk to services via a private bridge that crosses over the road. One-, two- and three-bedroom golf villas are also available for those who prefer to stay closer to the convention center.

Edgewater’s gated community provides 11 swimming pools, a children’s splash pad, 10 tennis courts, 10 shuffleboard courts, a golf course, health club, four hot tubs, gift shop, free wifi, an onsite convenience store (including a Starbucks) and a full-service restaurant called Oceans  (For more information, see the resort’s website at www.edgewaterbeachresort.com.)

Alternative housing is also available within a short drive of Edgewater Beach Resort. The longterm success of this site depends on members using the housing listed in the Festival Planning Brochure, which can lower the cost of the convention center.

There is an abundance of dining and shopping in all price ranges in and around the Panama City Beach area. In addition, there is a wide variety of family-oriented entertainment such as miniature golf, scooter rentals, jet-skis, fishing and parasailing.

Panama City Beach’s early and general housing request dates for 2020 are: April 14 (early sign-up for special needs) and April 21 (general or major requests). Please note that both the early and general housing dates for Panama City Beach are later than most U.S. Feast sites.

Taxes: Room tax is 13.12 percent at Edgewater. Sales tax total is 8 percent.
