IMPORTANT: Travelers need to insure that their passports are valid for at least three months beyond their planned date of departure out of the 26 European countries in the Schengen area. The U.S. State Department also advises Americans to have at least six month’s validity remaining on their passport whenever they travel abroad.

No visa is currently required for travelers from the U.S., U.K., Australia, and Canada to visit France if the visit is less than 90 days. For citizens of the European Union, a national ID card is all that is required. Visitors from countries other than those mentioned above should check with the nearest French consulate or embassy to verify travel formalities.

If you are flying into Nice airport and taking our provided shuttle:

Fly into the Nice Côte D’Azur Airport, about 70 km away from Roquebrune-sur-Argens. A shuttle bus will be provided to and from the Nice airport on Friday, October 2, and Sunday, October 11. If you would like to take advantage of the arrival shuttles on Friday, October 2, please plan to arrive before 2:30pm. The shuttle bus will leave between 3-3:30pm. If you are unable to arrive before 2:30pm, you will need to make alternative transportation arrangements to get to the resort. For the return shuttle on October 11, departures typically begin at 4am and extend to noon, depending on flight departure times.

For those purchasing a shuttle from the Nice airport, you will receive a questionnaire asking for your flight # and arrival times. You will be sent a transportation survey on Thursday, July 30th to be completed by Sunday, August 16th. The per person cost for an airport shuttle will be €35. Infants two and under are free if they do not take up a seat on the bus.
 

If you are arriving by train into Nice:

By train : From Paris, take the Mediterranean TGV (high-speed train), which leaves from the Gare de Lyon, to the Saint-Raphaël train station. The trip takes about 5 hours. From the Saint-Raphael train station, you can take a taxi to the Vacanciel resort (about 20-25 minutes away), or take either the Bus N° 2602 or N°11.

You will need to obtain your own taxi or rideshare service to get to the Hotel Club Vacanciel.

***Please note: It is absolutely essential to phone your credit card provider and advise them that you plan to purchase tickets online in a foreign currency so they can remove the fraud protection and allow your transaction to go through.
 

If you are driving to the Hotel Club Vacanciel in a personal or rented vehicle:

1) From Paris, take the A6 towards Lyon, from Lyon take the A7, and the A8 towards Aix-en-Provence. Exit N°36, at Le Muy, then follow the RN 7 towards Fréjus, and Roquebrune-sur-Argens. The village is located between Le Muy and Puget. Typical driving time is about 7 to 8 hours.

2) From Nice, follow the A8 to the DN7 in Puget-sur-Argens. Take exit 37 and follow directions to Roquebrune-sur-Argens. Once you enter the village, make a right at the first light and follow the sign for Vacanciel.Typical driving time is about an hour.

Free parking is available at the Hotel Club Vacanciel and you will need a gate code to enter, which will be provided closer to the Feast.
