This year we’ll celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles once again at the beautiful seaside town in Sabaudia, which is located only one-hour drive from the fascinating and historical city of Rome and approximately one and half-hour drive from the city of Naples. This makes our Feast site especially suitable for cultural tours to various important historical places like Rome and Pompeii, the latter was destroyed by the Vesuvius explosion in 79 B.C. Other places that can be visited before or after the Feast are the Amalfi Coast, Capri, and several other famous places (more information can be send upon request.)
Sabaudia is also surrounded by beautiful sandy dunes, salty lakes and the National Park of Circeo. The entire area appears to the visitor as an incomparable witness of the perfect fusion of natural elements, which draws us closer to our Creator God, the greatest artist of all. Its climate in autumn is very mild: night and day temperature may be 70-86°F.
Your Italian brethren hope that you and/or your respective families can make it to Italy this year. We are looking very much forward to welcome you and fellowshipping with you in Jesus Christ.
COVID-19 information for travelers: This year will be a special Feast of Tabernacles, considering the past two years of lock-downs. As of March 1, for entry to the Italian territory, only one of the following conditions of the Green Pass will be sufficient: (1) A certificate of vaccination, or (2) a certificate of recovery, or (3) a simple negative test result within a certain time frame before arriving. Also, there is no quarantine for travelers from non-EU countries.
Shuttle service to/from the airport: Shuttle pick-ups and bus transportation from/to the Roman FCO International Airport can be provided to you on any day before, during and after the Feast, at a reasonable fee. You can book for both shuttle service and the hotel through our Feast website https://feastinitaly.org/cms/ after applying and receiving your unique Feast password.
Services: English language is spoken and understood by many Italian brethren who are looking forward to meeting you and fellowshipping with you. Church services will be held alternately in English and Italian languages, with simultaneous translation. Headphones will be provided. To give you time to rest from the long international flight, there will be no services upon your arrival on Sunday evening.
Cultural tours: Tours to Rome and Pompeii will be held within the Feast of Tabernacles. Book for them now and pay later. Also, if you would like to participate in our pre-Feast four-day tours in Tuscany, please apply through our Atonement Day menu at our website https://feastinitaly.org/cms/ by using a different email address than the one for the Feast of Tabernacles.
Serving at the Feast: We need a choir director for the English language choir as well as English-speaking UCG ministers and/or senior members. Furthermore, we plan to offer you family games on a sandy private beach, an evening dance and a talent show. If you can either sing or play the piano or any other musical instrument, or if you have any other artistic talent that may entertain your brethren at the Feast, your talent will be very welcome. This is also true if you are a choir singer or if you can play the piano to accompany hymns/choir. Your involvement in making the Feast a greater success to God’s glory will be appreciated.
Restaurant: In regard to food, the Italian cuisine is one of the richest and delicious and exquisite in the world. The hotels staff can speak English and their restaurants can host large groups of brethren so that we can enjoy our meals all together in Christian fellowship. The chefs of our Feast hotel know the distinction of clean and unclean foods, and the restaurant staff is looking forward to welcoming and serving us diligently.
Registration and bookings: Your registration becomes a committed booking only when you send your down payment through our website https://feastinitaly.org/cms/
