Lake Geneva Feast Site Announcement for August 18, 2023
Lake Geneva, WI is no longer a closed Feast site. It is now open to anybody willing to stay at the listed housing properties which is either the Timber Ridge Lodge and the Grand Geneva Resort.L
Our apologies for those who were required to change their first choice and find another Feast site, but the Grand Geneva Resort has just opened up additional meeting space that was not originally available.
Anybody who now wants to register for Lake Geneva will be accepted, but it is based on the requirement to use the properties listed in the Feast brochure or online. See the housing information online at the Lake Geneva webpage.
If you need help registering or changing sites please email USFestival@ucg.org or call (970) 484-5878.
As a first-time site, the Timber Ridge Resort will host the Feast of Tabernacles. The scenic Lake Geneva community has the “Feast feel” and offers a wide range of activities and options for the entire family. Although a small town, museums, shopping and a variety of dining for upscale and family budgets dot the area. Hiking and biking trails, boating, fishing and golf are some of the outdoor opportunities, plus zip lining and Safari Lake Geneva—a unique conservation park featuring a variety of species living in virtually free-range conditions. A number of other lakes are in the nearby area.
Housing: The Timber Ridge Lodge has only one and two-bedroom condos. The condos should be economical compared to a hotel and expense of paying for all meals at restaurants. There are also hotel rooms available at the Grand Geneva Resort, plus they have some additional villas and condos. All attendees are required to stay at the listed housing below. Anyone with exceptions or special circumstances should contact the Feast coordinator to discuss the situation prior to registration. If you are interested in the additional villas or condos on site, contact the Feast coordinator for details and pricing.
The Timber Ridge Resort is situated on 1,300 acres in the woodlands of Grand Geneva Resort and Spa. The amenities of the Grand Geneva Resort are available to everyone staying at the Timber Ridge Resort. The Timber Ridge Lodge normally operates a water park, but unfortunately, during the Feast it will be under renovation, however, this means that basically, only Church members will be at the resort, but the Grand Geneva Resort has an indoor pool and a nice lap pool with free access.
An additional free amenity available to everyone is the Well Spa facility, which includes a nice lap pool, indoor basketball, indoor volleyball, pickle ball, sand volleyball, free fitness classes, saunas, disc golf and hiking trails. For extra charges, the facility provides inside rock climbing, rentable scooters, electric bikes, a golf course, archery, horseback riding, spa and salon. A free shuttle is available throughout the 1,300-acre campus.
Members can expect the traditional youth, teen and young adult activities and the spiritually enriching youth education and Bible studies.
