×This year we’ll celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles once again at the beautiful sea-town in Sabaudia (near Rome).
Sabaudia is located only a one-hour drive from the fascinating and historical city of Rome and an approximately one and a half-hour drive from the city of Naples. This makes our Feast site especially suitable for cultural tours to various important historical places like Rome and Pompeii. The latter was destroyed by the Vesuvius explosion in 79 B.C. Other places that can be visited before or after the Feast are the Amalfi Coast, Capri and several other famous places.
Sabaudia is also surrounded by beautiful sandy dunes, a salty lake and the National Park of Circeo. The entire area appears to the visitor as an incomparable witness of the perfect fusion of natural elements, which draws us closer to our Creator God, the greatest artist of all. Its climate in autumn is very mild: night and day temperature may be 70-86 degrees Fahrenheit.
Services: English language is spoken and understood by a good number of Italian brethren who are looking forward to meeting you and fellowshipping with you. Church services will be held alternately in English and Italian, with simultaneous translation. Headphones will be provided on site. To give you time to rest from the long international flight, there will be no church services upon your arrival on Friday evening.
Serving at the Feast: We need a choir director for the English language choir as well as English speaking UCG ministers and/or senior members. Furthermore, we plan to offer you family games on a sandy private beach, an evening dance and a talent show. If you can either sing or play the piano or any other musical instrument, or if you have any other artistic talent that may entertain your brethren at the Feast, your talent will be very welcome. This is also true if you are a choir singer or if you can play the piano to accompany hymns. Your involvement in making the Feast a greater success to God’s glory will be appreciated.
Dining: In regard to food, the Italian cuisine is one of the richest, most delicious and most exquisite in the world. The hotel staff can speak English and their restaurants can host large groups of brethren so that we can enjoy our meals and fellowship together. The chefs of our Feast hotel know the distinction between clean and unclean foods, and the restaurant staff is looking forward to welcoming and serving us diligently.
Activities: Tours to Rome and Pompeii will be held during the Feast of Tabernacles. Book them now and pay later.
Registration: Your registration becomes a committed booking only when you decide to send your down payment through our website, feastinitaly.org. From there you can determine your Feast budget and make your possible bookings. For questions, e-mail registration@feastinitaly.org or info@labuonanotizia.org.
Your Italian brethren hope that you and/or your respective families can make it to Italy this year. We are looking forward very much to welcoming you and fellowshipping with you in Jesus Christ.
