Brethren from the United States of America, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, South Africa, Mexico, Chile, and of course Italy, gathered for eight days in the beautiful site of Sabaudia. The highest attendance was 205. We were a small but enthusiastic group of God’s people enjoying heartfelt and inspiring sermons, delicious food and Christian fellowship. We were living proof that language need not to be a barrier to getting to know and love one another in Jesus Christ.

During the Feast we baptized two new members: Pasquale Russo (from Naples) and Anna Maria Galatolo (from Palermo). We gave them our warmest welcome to God’s Church.

The weather was wonderful. Many participated in cultural tours to famous historical places like Pompeii, Rome and the Vatican museums. It was history coming alive before our eyes. Social activities like the talent show, the evening dance and wine tasting at a Roman winery were also held for the enjoyment of all Feast participants. 

The arrivederci section of the Feast was very moving, with unforgettable moments at the end of the Feast. Many of the brethren from outside Italy have already written to us in appreciation. Yet we are the ones who have to sincerely express our gratitude for your brotherly presence, friendship and support. There are not adequate words to thank all the non-Italian brethren who have served and contributed in various ways to make the Feast truly memorable to God’s glory and honor. 

The Italian brethren would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who have celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles with them in Italy this year. We are already looking forward to next year’s Feast. Indeed, our heartfelt thanks to all of you.
