The Feast in South Africa was a great success! Our highest attendance was 150, which with the usual number of unwell Feastgoers suggests a total of approximately 160.

Apart from South Africans, we were pleased to have visitors from Australia, Canada and the U.S.A. All indicated having thoroughly enjoyed the Feast and the opportunity to travel to various tourist destinations at minimum cost.

Many functions were enjoyed by all, and the highlights were three Bible studies, a family day, a dance, a seniors luncheon, a youth day, a games evening, welcome and farewell functions and a catered lunch between services on the Eighth Day. Beach outings are always very popular with the families, as our fine sandy beaches, warm water and lifeguards on duty make for enjoyment.

Special music was outstanding and was a highlight of the Feast. A further highlight was the baptism of two new members to the Body of Christ.

We are already looking forward to and are planning for next year’s Feast of Tabernacles in Margate. Due to the Feast falling very late next year, Oct. 17 to Oct. 24, it is most likely that it will fall after school holidays, meaning that even more accommodation will be available at even cheaper rates. We look forward to even more overseas visitors next year.
