For the second year, Eco Park Water Resort, in the town of Boa Vista, Roraima, was the site for the Feast of Tabernacles in Brazil. There were 72 brethren attending from Guyana, the Brazilian village of Maloca de Moscow, and Southern Brazil. Services were conducted in Portuguese with an English translation. Blue skies and sunshine with temperatures in the upper 90s Fahrenheit prevailed during the Feast.

Messages centered on God’s Kingdom, reconciliation, and the urgency of our calling. The Bible studies held included messages of the letters of virtue, principles of tithing, and how we are to appear before God in His solemn assemblies during the three seasons in God’s calendar. Victor Kubik’s Feast message was also a spiritual highlight of the Feast.

There were many lively, festive activities that were held during the Feast. These included a heroes of the Bible themed teen dance, a circus-themed children’s party, complete with a clown and games, a family dance, and a Bible bowl games night. The ladies also enjoyed an afternoon tea and crafts. The theme was “jewels” and how we are God’s precious jewels. Each lady made a necklace and earrings from an assortment of decorative beads and stones. A nutrition presentation also covered the importance of having a balanced diet and incorporating a variety of fruits and vegetables into our diets.

Eight days filled with inspirational messages of the Millennium and the Kingdom of God and a family atmosphere filled with activity came to an end too quickly!
